Job description
Looking for an experienced part-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team and provide top-quality care to geriatric patients in a Nursing Home setting. The ideal candidate will be licensed and passionate about helping others, with experience in cardiology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical exams on patients
- Diagnose and treat various cardiac conditions including hypertension, myocardial infarction (MI), congestive heart failure (CHF), Arrhythmias.
- Prescribe medications as needed
- Provide follow-up care for ongoing management of chronic illnesses
- Communicate effectively with staff members regarding patient issues
Requirements:
-Current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of CT
-Board Certified
-Minimum of two years experience in cardiology- preferred
-Long term care experience needed
-Ok with mobile setting
