Job description
The Transporter will provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation of patients throughout the medical complex. The employee will be trained and must demonstrate competency in moving of patients, including neonatal, pediatric (birth - 11 years), adolescents (12 - 17 years), adults (18 - 65 years), and geriatric (66 years and older).
The Transporter is knowledgeable of department/hospital policies and procedures. Accepts responsibility for own professional growth and continuing education. Must display positive attitude and maintain good working relationship with all internal and external customers.
EDUCATION & TRAINING:
High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in a medical setting preferred
LICENSE & CERTIFICATION:
BLS required.
