Job description
Application Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Perform engineering activities including design fabrication assembly testing and modification of automotive airbag modules.
Execute validation/verification testing.
Initiate and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Work with hand tools.
Exhibit proactive safety behavior.
Recognize nonconformances.
Compile engineering statistical data.
Tear down and analyze live and deployed modules and components.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Education Experience and Skills Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME) or Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET)
Minimum 5 years of experience desired
Must be able to use computer software such as Excel Word Power Point Outlook Teams etc. 3D CAD skills (preferred).
Ability to read assembly and component drawings
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Have good listening skills and the ability to work independently as well as be selfmotivated.
