- Job Summary
The Director of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for the execution of leadership's strategic direction for supply chain operations. In addition, this position will provide direct oversight and management for Central Stores, Receiving, OR Supply Management, Warehouse Operations, Print Operations, Central Supply Transportation and Vendor Credentialing and Management.
- Job Requirements Education Required: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare supply chain management with a proven track record of leadership and success. Skills
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and opportunities, and develop effective solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team, build consensus, and drive change within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems, inventory management systems, and analytics platforms.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results on time and within budget.
