Job description
CHI St. Vincent is in need of a Radiation oncologist Mar 16-21! The provider will cover daily radiation oncologists responsibilities while covering, including some consultations for those in need, approval of treatment plans and oversite of radiation treatments, and weekly patient visit requirements in the department. They may have to go see a patient in the hospital for consultation.
BID DUE DATE: Feb 9 @ 3p EST! Details:
- Mar 16-21
- Mon-Fri: 8a-5p + night call & 24 hour call Sat-Sun.
- The hours for the locum provider does include call requirements. Typically they have reported 9 hours during the day (8a-5p) and 15 hour night call shift (5p-8a) including the weekends. They could be required to see a hospital consult for radiation therapy treatment.
- Duties: The locum would see all of the patients one time per week but be available while the patients are being treated.

Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility: - Average 38-50 patients under treatment daily.
- The locum would see all of the patients one time per week but be available while the patients are being treated. Facility does not have Cyber Knife, we do offer low dose rate brachytherapy (but this would not be an expectation for coverage), we have full time RN staffing to support the locum, we have a medical assistant as well.

Rates to Submit:
- Malpractice - Must be included in the rate
- Orientation - half the hourly rate, kicks in after 8 hours. - "per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"
- Hourly - BR45-BR95 Rate Range Cap - "per hour, no OT"
- On Call (Daily) rate - BR850-1950 rate range cap - Must include 4 hours gratis - "per 24 hours to hold the pager to include 4 hours gratis"
- Nightly call rate - BR00-BR00 rate range cap - Must include 2.5 hours gratis - "per night to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis."
- Call back rate - BR45-BR95 Rate range cap - Must match hourly rate - "Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed. Gratis prorate to MSA terms.
- Holiday rates - 1.5x the regular rate per CS guidelines for all corresponding rates.
