Texas Region Business Development Manager
Job Description:
Space Age Electronics is seeking an experienced business development manager to manage, maintain, identify, and grow our direct business throughout the Texas region of the U.S. which includes the, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma markets with our Fire Alarm & Life Safety System “ESD” partners.
This individual will be a crucial business development team member and report directly to our VP of Business Development.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Account management & growth of existing direct partners in the territory
- Finding new direct partners
- Project guidance to our internal customer support teams on more significant projects
- Reviewing regular account data for management and strategic planning
- Frequent travel within the region (must have reliable transportation)
- Onsite and office support to our partners for product & solution education
- Industry involvement for codes, standards, and solutions education to industry organizations
- Prompt response time to partner inquiries
- Working alongside the development team on national initiatives
This is a remote position for someone who lives within the territory they will serve. Therefore, it requires frequent travel within the states mentioned and periodic travel as needed throughout the country.
Space Age is looking for someone motivated with prior fire industry experience. In addition, having direct customer service, account management, and/or outside sales experience is critical to success.
