Responsibilities
The Finance Manager is a critical role within IGT’s PlayDigital business unit supporting the iGaming line of business. The iGaming business is the stronghold of IGT’s PlayDigital segment and is continuing to see strong growth into 2024 and beyond as markets expand in the US and worldwide. The right candidate is highly numerate, personable, and has technical accounting experience. This role is key in supporting iGaming internal stakeholders and achieving the iGaming strategic plan, by being ingrained in the business and by using finance and accounting acumen to provide insights to and drive performance for the business. This position reports to the PlayCasino Finance Director and is based in Providence, RI.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Commercial modeling and financial analysis
- Review contracts for accounting and commercial implications
- Serve as business partner to Commercial team
- Quarterly forecasting and business insights
- Reporting & analysis of actual results
- Prepare and present consolidated financial packages
- Provide long range planning and strategy support
- Build collaborative relationships with cross functional teams to influence change that leads to tighter control of financial activities and improved reporting abilities
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field, CPA or CMA preferable
- 4-7 years of job-related experience
- Understanding of and adherence to US GAAP and SOX controls
- Experience in Technical and/or commercial contracts
- Critical thinking skills, proven ability to solve complex problems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively interact with senior management and individuals with varying degrees of financial knowledge
- Motivated self-starter with capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work product
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite of products
- Knowledge of financial planning systems and understanding of driver-based forecasting
- SAP/BPC experience a plus
- Travel may be required
