Job Description

As an EHS Manager at our client, you'll ensure compliance with HSE regulations and corporate standards, driving safety improvements. Collaborate with site teams, conduct audits,and lead initiatives for environmental and safety enhancements. Your role directly impacts their commitment to a safer and greener world.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish robust HSE systems, ensuring compliance with national legislation and the company's Global Health & Safety Manual.
• Conduct regular audits, define, and implement HSE improvement strategies.
• Manage site safety communication and emergency response procedures.
• Oversee occupational health surveillance and risk assessments.
• Train employees in HSE topics and drive a safety culture within the workforce.
• Lead medium-scale improvement projects for workplace safety.

Required Experience/Skills

• NEBOSH General Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, IEMA - Certificate in Environmental Management.
• Minimum 5 years' HSE leadership experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety legislation, ISO14001 & ISO 45001 standards, and EPA regulations.
• Experience with formal Management of Change systems and Root Cause Analysis.
• Knowledge and experience of EPA regulations and procedures (US) is required.
• Ability to demonstrate experience of working with formal Management of Change systems (MOC) to reduce safety and operational risks.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with EU safety standards and Process Safety Management techniques.
• Passion for sustainability and human health.
• Previous exposure to diverse cultures or tech startup environments.

Education: NEBOSH General Diploma, IEMA - Certificate in Environmental Management.

Travel requirements: Across US states. Some occasional global travel.
