Electronic Records Manager and Content Manager will be responsible for Customer Electronic Records Management. This responsibility includes leading, planning, and managing the records management program for Office of Space Launch (OSL) launch support, mission, and administrative records. Candidate must possess a working knowledge of the principles of information, data, records and knowledge management. Candidate will address tactical and strategic information and data management needs in support of both mission and business processes. Candidate will support cradle-to-grave management of information and data in accordance with records management principles, and work with users to resolve access issues and provide technical support.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Manage Electronic Records Management capabilities.
- Analyze records management needs of the organization
- Develop curriculum and provide training on records management on the electronic document and records management system; maintain a visible role as a knowledgeable resource to provide guidance and assistance in answering questions and resolving issues related to electronic records management.
- Respond to legal and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
- M entor and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
- May serve as a team, project or task lead
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with Electronic Records Management technology
- Strong soft skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
Qualifications
- HS and seven (7) years or more experience: Bachelors and two (2) years of more experience
- Knowledge of:
- Principles and best practices of records/information management
- Records management technology.
- Project management and scheduling concepts and practices.
- Theories and controls related to confidentiality of records
- Teaching methods and techniques, both one-on-one and in classroom environments
- Working knowledge of access management principles
- Ability to:
- Identify and analyze record/information management needs and requirements.
- Organize and manage multiple and complex tasks.
- Work independently.
- Maintain confidentiality and understand and apply policies.
- Maintain large amounts of data in an efficient and orderly manner.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Willingness to obtain and keep current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), OR CCNA-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE is the preferred certification.
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
