POSITION SUMMARY
As a Provider Credentialing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for healthcare providers, ensuring that all necessary credentials are obtained, and the providers are fully prepared to deliver exceptional care to our patients. You will work closely with various departments to facilitate the credentialing process, coordinate training sessions, and provide ongoing support to providers throughout their onboarding journey.

OBJECTIVES
● Facilitate the credentialing process, coordination of orientation and training, and communication to all impacted departments with updates on provider onboarding statuses and progress.
● Maintain individual provider files to include up-to-date information needed to complete the credentialing applications.
● Ensure provider-collected information is current and accurate, identifying potential onboarding issues or concerns, and facilitating problem resolution.
● Collaborate and advise as appropriate to limit company legal liability, escalating non-compliance issues and concerns.
● Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, both in-person and online, to address clinical, technological, and procedural aspects of the onboarding process.
● Regularly assess and update training materials to reflect evolving best practices and technological advancements in the healthcare industry.
● Provide credentialing information and detailed instructions to providers immediately following the signed offer letter.
● Work closely with Clinical Operations, HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and administrative teams to ensure timely credentialing completion and accurate setup of account access for healthcare providers.
● Foster effective communication and collaboration among various departments involved in the onboarding process, including HR, IT, training, and clinical teams.
● Serve as a point of contact for healthcare providers during the onboarding process, addressing inquiries, providing support, and ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
● Conduct thorough assessments to gauge the preparedness of healthcare providers before patient interactions.
● Implement feedback mechanisms to gather insights from both providers and relevant stakeholders, utilizing the feedback to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
COMPETENCIES
● Previous experience in healthcare provider credentialing and onboarding preferred.
● Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing software.
● Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
● 3-5+ years of experience in provider credentialing and onboarding (required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk or computer
● Travel up to 15% of the time
