BayNova has an exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow Fault Monitoring Administrator to join our team working remote in support of an important federal government client in Alexandria, VA.

You exercise judgment in the decision-making process to provide consistent customer service.
You will be responsible for the support for the IT Infrastructure ServiceNow Fault Monitoring administration, including all aspects of administration, configuration, and maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow Fault Monitoring administration including an understanding of the tools capabilities, maintaining fault monitoring, event management (creating alarms, setting threshold, assigning thresholds to servers) and user/group administration.
- Cultivates the role of subject matter expert for the ServiceNow Fault Monitoring platforms, by staying current on new product features and functions of the latest versions; ensures latest versions are tested and deployed in a timely manner.
- Maintains all ServiceNow Fault Monitoring environments with latest security patches.
- Creates and maintains documentation and SOP for the ServiceNow Fault Monitoring platforms.
- Assists with maintenance windows including performing application validations.
- Integrate emails, SNMP traps, and alerts from systems, appliances and other monitoring tools into the system.
- Creates an intuitive desktop for the NOC to use for 24x7 Enterprise monitoring.
- Fosters relationship with application vendors.
- Works with vendors on support cases to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements: - 2+ years of applicable experience
- Public Trust Clearance
- Ability to work onsite at the customer's location in Alexandria, VA
- 24x7 On-call rotation for afterhours support
- Nights and/or weekends troubleshooting, maintenance and any other special circumstances
- Self-starting individual with the ability to work independently on issues with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented technical and strong analytical skills
- Exceptional customer service and follow up skills
