Here's what you'll do day-to-day:
HCM Technology/Client Support:
- Contact clients daily to provide reminders for upcoming payroll processing deadlines.
- Assist clients with resolving employee and client user lockouts within the software system.
- Enter garnishment data for clients on a daily basis.
- Input pay card data for clients and alert packout as required.
- Manage the preliminary termination process for clients when needed.
- Conduct garnishment audits and handle related tasks.
- Assist clients directly with basic needs related to their accounts as required.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Packaging Operations:
- Print, seal, and package all client payroll print jobs while ensuring the quality parameters and deadlines are met.
- Assemble parcels for shipping, including inserting items into shipping envelopes, weighing packages, and affixing labels.
- Ensure all clients are billed daily for packout-related services.
- Manage local (USPS and Courier) and FedEx delivery of packages for clients.
- Research and resolve any client inquiries related to package deliveries.
- Update the system with specific wrapping instructions, 'attention to' contacts, and delivery instructions for individual client accounts.
- Ensure that printing equipment and supplies are well-maintained and operational.
- Handle communication and rapport with vendors for order placements and necessary equipment repairs.
- Proactively take measures to prevent errors and minimize waste in daily tasks and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six (6) months to one (1) year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and able to effectively utilize available office management technology.
- Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities along with attention-to-detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships at all levels internally and externally.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, coupled with flexibility and a strong sense of urgency regarding deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A positive and upbeat attitude.
- Broad knowledge of applicable federal and state wage and tax laws and compliance regulations regarding payroll.
- Must have the ability to take initiative and manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced, highly complex and deadline-oriented service environment.
- Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues.
