Job description
The Gulf Coast VA Medical Center in Biloxi, MS, is seeking two full-time, BC/BE, Psychiatrists to serve as members of its Psychiatric Services Team. The Mississippi Gulf Coast is a great place to live and work! Highlights of this position include:
Competitive Starting Salary $230,000 $282,482
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am4:00 pm OR 8am-4:30pm.
Telework eligible as determined by policy
Deliver full range of clinical psychiatric services to Veterans in outpatient setting
Evaluate, consult, medication management, and conduct individual or group psychotherapy
Provide direct clinical supervision to staff as appropriate
Some travel may be required to outlying clinics throughout the Gulf Coast VA Health Care System
Additional Requirements:
Board eligible/certified in Psychiatry
Experience participating as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team
Proficient working with adult population in an outpatient setting
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
