AppleCare Digital crafts alluring digital content and experiences to help people get the most out of their Apple products. We make it easy for everyone to learn about, use, and maintain all of their Apple software and hardware. We're searching for an accomplished Sr. UX Designer who is extraordinary at designing customer facing digital experiences. A deep understanding of the design process as well as a good understanding of the Apple ecosystem is ideal. You will have passion for collaborating closely with partners and leaders across the organization to refine our thinking and best serve our customers.
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years leading the design of high impact consumer facing digital experiences.
- A deep passion to think differently and challenge conventional approaches to design.
- Proven expertise in multiple areas of UX design, including service design, research, IA, visual, prototyping, etc.
- Proficiency in design tools (Sketch, Keynote, Photoshop, prototyping tools).
- Ability to build and prioritize highly detailed and precise design artifacts (flows, journey maps, service blueprints, wires, mocks, prototypes, specs, related documentation).
- Familiarity with design systems and branding guidelines.
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and influencing skills.
- Experience with accessibility, localization, and internationalization.
- An online portfolio of professional work is required.
Description
In this role, your work will focus on pursuing complex problems within a portfolio of high impact experiences. You will define and align on problem statements and genuine user needs while collecting and synthesizing background information from all likely sources. You will challenge your own thinking through engaged debate and collaboration, and explore and create concepts that show the breadth of your thinking. You have the ability to handle your own time and stay on top of things. It will be important to show your work, keep it organized and logical, while eliminating confusion and getting to the bottom of issues quickly. Additional responsibilities include: Build understanding using concise communications and presentations. Be the voice of the customer. Build positive relationships with everyone and spend time working directly with them. Eliminate confusion and drive consensus. Know when to escalate. Be calm and professional under pressure. Have composure and decorum. Be a diplomat for the design team when our point of view is the key to customer success. Have fun and be yourself.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (UX/Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Design, or similar degrees preferred)

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500.00 and $263,800.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
