Financial Reporting Manager
Location: Bristol, CT (hybrid work optional)
Position Reports To: Assistant Controller
Salary Range: $135,000 plus up to 40% bonus earning possibility

As a Manager, Financial Reporting, you'll be a key contributor supporting both the Headquarters Accounting team and business operations. Core Responsibilities: - Overseeing the monthly consolidation of company-wide financial statements
- Conducting detailed analyses of monthly consolidated financial statements for accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
- Managing monthly financial reporting to the leadership team, encompassing standard reporting and addressing ad-hoc requests
- Providing quarterly support for the external reporting process, including financial statement and footnote reviews for Forms 10-Q/K and press releases
- Leading multiple technical areas, including researching applicable accounting guidance
- Assisting and consulting on the annual consolidation and analysis of company-wide plan financial statements
- Collaboratively owning Oracle Hyperion/EPM (Consolidation/Planning) system with the Financial Systems team
- Supporting M&A activities, including opening balance sheet accounting and post-close financial reporting
- Identifying and researching solutions to accounting issues; assisting in the implementation of new accounting rules as required
- Implementing process improvements
- Managing additional special projects such as on-site operations/control reviews
Qualifications: - Minimum of five years of success within a public accounting firm or a mix of public accounting and private industry, with emphasis in manufacturing and SEC experience strongly preferred.

- Attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills; initiative in resolving issues with sound and timely decisions
- An inquisitive and analytical mindset
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of planning and aligning to complete multiple assignments in a timely manner within a dynamic environment
- Oracle Hyperion/EPM (Consolidation/Planning) and Smartview experience required
- Ability to collaborate effectively within the Finance department and across other functions on key initiatives, sharing best practices, tools, and processes
- A drive for seeking opportunities for automation/digitalization, motivated to think creatively while being accountable for desired results
Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting required. Advanced degree and / or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.

Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
