In this position, you will be an integral part of our finance team, responsible for managing the intricate financial landscape of multiple entities, real estate investments, and a charitable organization. Compensation:
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive accounting procedures, encompassing bill payment and meticulous financial record-keeping for diverse entities within our portfolio
- Manage core accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll (PR), General Ledger (GL), and conduct thorough bank reconciliations
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Sage accounting software, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive to streamline financial operations and ensure accuracy
- Oversee the efficient processing of a substantial volume of monthly invoices (100+), maintaining a high level of precision and organization
- Enter intricate details from owner statements into Sage for multiple Limited Liability Companies (LLCs), ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Implement strategic cash flow management, particularly in handling invoices for real estate investments and utilities
- Facilitate month and end-year processes with a focus on transparency, accuracy, and adherence to established financial timelines
- Effectively manage Accounts Payable/Receivable, cash receipts, and the general ledger to maintain a real-time and accurate financial picture
- Conduct in-depth analyses of revenue and expenditure variances, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making
- Perform capital assets reconciliations to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements
- Continuously monitor and analyze accounting data, producing insightful financial reports and statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to uphold the highest standards of financial integrity
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing systems and procedures for enhanced efficiency and accuracy
- Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive fiscal files and records, ensuring a well-documented trail of all financial transactions
Qualifications:
- Proven track record with 2-4 years of hands-on experience as a staff accountant or full-charge bookkeeper
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Sage Accounting, and Google Drive, with particular expertise in Sheets
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of bookkeeping and accounting principles, ensuring precision in financial operations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, reflecting a commitment to maintaining high-quality financial records
- Beneficial: Solid understanding of Real Estate, Taxes, and Insurance, with a preference for candidates with expertise in these areas
- Methodical and predictable approach to tasks, showcasing an organized and strategic mindset
- Patient and accommodating demeanor, able to navigate complexities with ease and professionalism
- Proven ability to maintain composure under pressure, ensuring a steady and focused approach to challenges
- Team-oriented mindset, comfortable collaborating and contributing to a positive and productive work environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear and concise interactions within the team and external stakeholders
