Job description

Overview:

Join our Team as a Graduation and Academic Records and Services Coordinator! Are you passionate about facilitating students' graduation journeys? We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our Registrar's Office team. Reporting to the Assistant Registrar, you'll play a vital role in participating in all aspects of undergraduate and graduate graduation clearance, ensuring smooth processes from application to commencement. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with students, faculty, and staff on a range of academic services areas, including registration, academic progress, student special programs and records maintenance. Your contributions will be essential in supporting our students' academic success and enhancing the overall efficiency of our academic records and services operations.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. Two years of experience in a higher education setting. Graduate student work experience and cognate secondary education experience considered.
  3. Knowledge of current data processing techniques and the application of such techniques in an educational setting
  4. Experience working as a team member and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's Degree or Master's Candidate.
  2. Prior higher education experience
  3. Experience with transfer credit evaluation and curricular issues
  4. Demonstrated ability to work with both faculty and students
  5. Experience with PeopleSoft student records and/or admissions-related systems
  6. Ability to develop and maintain harmonious working relationships

Working Conditions:
This is a hybrid position with regular on-campus, in-person responsibilities in Salem, MA. This position may include occasional evenings and weekends.

Office activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting and standing, keyboarding and interaction with computer equipment; Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 10 pounds.
