Job description
Position Overview: The Executive Director at our Senior Living Community is responsible for the overall success of the senior living facility. This role involves managing operations, providing support to staff, and ensuring the highest standard of care for residents. The Executive Director will report directly to the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and evaluate policies and procedures for the senior living facility.
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenues and profitability of the facility.
- Manage the budget and coordinate all financial activities.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Develop and implement plans and programs that will enhance the quality of life of the residents.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of the residents.
- Ensure the facility meets or exceeds all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain effective relationships with residents, family members, staff, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior living, assisted living, hospice, geriatric, or healthcare environment.
- Valid RCFE (Residential Care Facility for Elderly) license.
- Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and standards pertaining to senior living facilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
