Intermediate Architect/Designer
Candidates for this position should have the following qualifications:
- Professional degree in architecture and 3+ years of related experience
- Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architecture
- Early to intermediate regulatory experience (Zoning and Building Code)
- Experience providing technical guidance to less experienced architects/architectural staff
- Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects
- Experience with consultant coordination
- Early to advanced competency with drawing set preparation
- Advanced drafting software skills and presentation and graphic communication skills
- Comfortable preparing reports, project specifications, and compiling/analyzing relevant data
- Coordinates with senior staff, Project Management, other architectural staff, and consultants
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS (including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign), Rhino, Sketchup, and Revit
- Lives in the New York City area and is available to work immediately
