Job description

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled DSP (Direct Support Professional) to join our team in St. Mary's County. The ideal candidate will provide support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- CPR/FA, MANDT, and CMT certifications are a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist individuals with disabilities with daily living tasks.
- Prepare meals, assist with personal hygiene, and administer medications.
- Support community engagement and social activities.
- Implement individual service plans and behavior support plans.
- Document individual progress and incidents accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure holistic care and support.
