ECS is seeking a Director, Business Operations to work in our Fairfax, VA office.
Job Description:
ECS is seeking a Director, Business Operations to manage and provide direction to programs supporting Federal Civilian customers. The Director will lead the Business Operations team on several programs as well as ensure financial management of all contracts. The Director will also be responsible for the growth of their portfolio - including identification of new business opportunities, leading capture efforts, and working across ECS to build strategic account plans. This is a senior level position which will require a strong leadership background in finance, procurement, sales, and budget management.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's and / or Master's degree
- At least 3 years of Federal Business Development experience (including BD, Capture, and Proposal Development)
- At least 5 years of management experience; prior project management and financial experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage a number of projects / priorities simultaneously; able to be hands-on as well as strategic
- Demonstrated ability to effectively influence without authority; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of personnel (executive to entry level)
- Ability to project a confident leadership image to peers, subordinates, and executive management
Desired Skills: - PMP certification
- Experience with Department of Treasury
- Experience with management of multiple contract types to include firm fixed price, time and materials, and cost reimbursable
