Description:
Supporting fabrication production lines in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory improvements.
Conducting studies (researching, gathering, comparing, computing, and evaluating data) to determine improvement opportunities in efficiency, quality, costs, and safety.
Planning and execution of continuous improvement projects to improve plant level goals.
Supporting the implementation of innovative technologies, processes, and equipment.
Makes recommendations on methods of operation, workstations, floor layout, and equipment.
Developing/maintaining systems associated with production processes, layouts, flow, equipment, and communications.
Collaborating with contractors and suppliers for project implementation.
Managing the priorities and utilization of resources efficiently.
Work with colleagues to develop and implement great, new ideas that consist of but not limited to the development of standard work/training guidelines for new teammates.
Collaborate and work with cross functional teams such as Engineering and Finance to achieve plant goals (quality, manufacturing, materials, design engineering, finance).
Performing other work as advised by Supervision.

Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing environment in a technician role.
Knowledge of fabrication, lean concepts, and basic shop math.
Able to interpret or learn to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical / measuring tools.
Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs., and push/pull/slide heavy material (as needed).
Basic Qualifications:
CAD experience and knowledge
