JOB DESCRIPTION:

Aerotek is hiring immediately for 2 Maintenance Technicians in Manchester, CT. The maintenance technician will work directly under the maintenance supervisor to help service all 380 units of this apartment complex. This is mostly managing the tickets requested by residents for minor repairs to be done. This position is full time Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm. • On Call after 6month Contract - rotating 1-2 weeks per month, so must have reliable transportation and live within 30mins Max.
• Small kitchen appliances; refrigerators, washing machines, toilettes
• Fixing a sink could be installing a new sink, snaking the drain to clear a clogged toilette or sink, repairing light bulbs in appliances.
• Being able to diagnose issues with appliances and evaluate if this is something that can be done on the spot or calling a sub-contractor to do the full repair like a licensed Plumber or Electrician.
• Working with Lead Mechanic to help on larger projects around the facility in between fixing immediate tickets that come up.
• Mechanically and electrically inclined experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience performing maintenance in apartment complex
• Local to Manchester, CT
• Reliable transportation
• 3+ years of maintenance experience
