As our Bar Manager, you’ll be the visionary behind the bar, orchestrating a symphony of flavors and ambiance that captivates our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspiring and motivating our team of bartenders to deliver exceptional service and uphold our standards of excellence.
- Crafting innovative cocktail menus that reflect our commitment to organic, locally-sourced ingredients.
- Collaborating with our events team to curate themed nights and special events that showcase our organic ethos and house music vibe.
- Managing inventory and ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality spirits, fresh produce, and unique garnishes.
- Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
The following qualifications are essential for success in this role:
- Ability to maintain an electric vibe that is so contagious, our guests can't help but spread the word about their epic experiences every time they visit.
- A love for house music and all music genres, along with an understanding of how to curate playlists that enhance the atmosphere.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or nightclub setting.
- An appreciation for organic, sustainable practices, and a passion for creating cocktails that celebrate nature's bounty.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team.
- Knowledge of mixology techniques and a keen palate for flavor combinations.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Proficient in English, with additional proficiency in Spanish considered a valuable asset.
- Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (please note that company does not provide).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
Proficiency Standards:
- Step Stool and Ladder Use: Must safely use step stools and ladders for tasks like reaching high shelves or changing signage.
- Smoke and Steam Exposure: Ability to work in environments with smoke and steam, common in bars.
- Hearing and Vision: Effective communication requires good hearing and vision for interactions with staff and customers.
- Manual Dexterity: Essential for tasks like handling glassware, operating cash registers, and preparing drinks.
- Lifting Half and Full Kegs: Capable of lifting and transporting kegs below the waist and over the head, maneuvering them into place.
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for interactions with various stakeholders.
- Mobility and Stamina: Must stand for long periods, move quickly, and squat in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for cleanliness, stocking, and identifying issues promptly.
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage with patrons, address needs, and provide excellent service.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures to maintain a safe environment.
