Henderson Building Solutions is seeking a Construction Scheduling Manager to join their team and manage projects, clients, and partners with Henderson Building Solutions (HBS) Project Managers (Pre-Construction, Construction Management, Commissioning and Engineering) to schedule every project for HBS. This position works closely with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement staff, construction managers, contractors, trade partners and other project services staff to provide detailed planning and scheduling of HBS projects from pre-construction through engineering and construction.
Minimum Qualifications for the Role are: - Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of construction or engineering preferred. Common examples include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Engineering, and Construction Management.
- Years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of requisite education.
- Five or greater years of relevant and progressive experience required in construction and design of building systems project management, estimating, process and/or logistics control experience required.

- Possesses efficient communication skills.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills specifically within Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Oracle P6.

- Generates ideas for improvement, takes advantage of opportunities, suggests innovations.
- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to identify and understand relevant emerging technologies and industry trends. · Proficiency with other scheduling programs as directed.
Skills and Duties you will be Responsible for while in this role:
- Works daily with all HBS Project Managers to administer detailed planning and scheduling of projects from conceptual planning through construction completion on all projects keeping them advised of changes and impacts.
- Advises when the schedule will need extended overhead and provide the roadmap for substantiating that request.
- Integrates multiple schedules into a master project schedule, base line, status, and perform measurement baseline.
- Develops summary level schedule reports including milestone charts and other tools used to support critical path analysis, near-term tasks work, priority-based resource allocations, performance variances and to support cost/schedule integration.
- Monitors and proactively reports forecasted activities and cash flow analysis.
- Participates in forecast meetings, prepared to discuss, and advise on modifying schedules as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by Construction Operations Director. · May supervise Construction Schedulers.
- Involves the Construction Engineering Director to have design activities included in the schedule and a separate SOV of the design portion.
- Proactively reports engineering activity impacts to the Construction Engineering Director and the respective project manager for resolution.
- Advises the Construction Engineering Director of severe impacts to proactively mitigate claims.
- Prepares costing impact dollars related to claims and reports findings to Construction Operations Director and HBS/HEI legal team.
- Identifies potential scheduling delays and facilitate remedial action with stakeholders.
- Manages scheduling files and advises on matters related to claims as they arise.
- Completes all software training designated by HBS and stays abreast of the latest updates, trends, and options to make scheduling best in class.
- Stays current on knowledge of procurement, construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critical path logic networks.
- Accumulates and accesses historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting.
