Surety Account Representative

Job description
The Surety Account Representative will observe and execute the procedures directly involved in the daily operation of the Surety Division as well as providing support to the Division Manager and Producers. General job duties include:
- Type bonds, consents, riders, applications, indemnity agreements, correspondence, etc.
- Invoice all bond transactions. Report bonds to surety company.
- Obtain bid results and report to surety. Set up and maintenance of carrier files, bond and form files, including ImageRight projects.
- Filing, copying, delivery and overnight packages.
- Assist with gathering and maintaining client underwriting files.
- Assist Surety Manager with various projects.
- Open to a hybrid schedule supportive of job performance and IMA culture.
- Six months of similar or related experience is preferred
- Excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to present and articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner
- Strong reasoning skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data and can clearly communicate ideas in a concise manner
- The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated the commitment to work through projects to completion
- Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products and other programs
- The willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibilities as the need arises
