Apple Inc.

Job description

Apple is where individual imaginations gather together, committing to the values that lead to great work. Every new product we build, service we create, or Apple Store experience we deliver is the result of us making each other’s ideas stronger. That happens because every one of us shares a belief that we can make something wonderful and share it with the world, changing lives for the better. It’s the diversity of our people and their thinking that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do. When we bring everybody in, we can do the best work of our lives. Here, you’ll do more than join something — you’ll add something. Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible — all while staying connected to the people around us. The Vision Product Group is looking for an Accessibility QA Engineer to help us explore, define, and build accessibility solutions for the next generation of interactive computing for our platform. As a member of this team, you will have a unique opportunity to work with some of Apple's most advanced technologies (AR, VR, ML, CV) to help build empowering solutions for everyone.

Key Qualifications

Description

Apple strives to make the newest technologies accessible for blind, low-vision, hearing-impaired, and motor-impaired users. The work we do ensures that all users can be surprised and delighted, regardless of their abilities. You must be comfortable with rapidly evolving designs and requirements, and have excellent interpersonal skills. This will require deep integration with our development engineers, creating test plans, bug reporting and triaging, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting design reviews. You'll help us identify holes in coverage, actively sync with multi-functional teams to reduce duplication, foster better testing, and resist regressions. A passion about accessibility and critical attention towards documentation is key. We are building a creative and diverse team that will span a broad range of applications, tools, and frameworks. We need your help to reach Apple's high standards of quality.

Education & Experience
