WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN THIS ROLE?

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the CSU operates in compliance with our policies and contractual agreements. Your interpersonal skills will be essential as you will often interact with personnel, clients, visitors, governmental agencies, and the general public. Your ability to handle these interactions tactfully and professionally will contribute to the overall success of the CSU.

Additionally, you will be responsible for providing supervision and guidance to CSU employees. This includes supervising, monitoring, evaluating, and scheduling the use of time and effort of staff members. You will enforce disciplinary and corrective actions when necessary, making recommendations regarding staff hiring, terminations, and wage adjustments. Another critical aspect of your role will be evaluating and addressing the training needs of the staff.

Your involvement with agency nurses and collaboration on procedures and the use of Qualifacts during shifts will be crucial for smooth operations. You will also play a role in maintaining clinical records according to Medical Records and Quality Assurance standards while ensuring the unit's needs for supplies and upkeep are met. Lastly, as the Crisis Program Director, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in community events and conduct community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote our services.
