Job description
Looking for a self-starting, creative and experienced marketing individual that works well with a team and can meet tight deadlines. Would split duties between Jade Presents and Jade Companies on digital and traditional aspects of marketing. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Conceptualize, curate and create organic social media content related to shows, events and artists using research, detailed copywriting, and any software and apps like Canva, HypeType, etc.
- Maintain a daily organic social media calendar across several properties and pages. Daily posting and/or scheduling required
- Community Management of several social media inboxes and DM's. Provide strong customer service to inquiries, respond to comments, and report/track reviews and feedback
- Lead marketer for small, grassroots shows– involves phone and email correspondence budgeting, digital and grassroots execution and upkeep of expenses and deadlines
- Outreach to local businesses, partners, and bands to cultivate community relationships
- Assist with Street Team coordination to include, printing & cutting as well as communication & assignments of teamer and routes
- Proof all show collateral for accuracy such as emails, posters, digital art,
- Proof all public-facing web and social data from ticketing links to website listings to social copy for 100% accuracy daily
- Assist with guerrilla marketing such as handbill printing & cutting, coordinating Register To Win promotions with partners & venues, and special giveaways with area businesses
- Ongoing marketing research to identify new places, angles and partners to reach new audiences related to show marketing
- Run errands as needed such as pick-ups from the printer, drop tickets to station/partner, etc.
- Onsite show & event support such as live social media coverage, displaying signage, setup & tear down, etc.
- Organization and upkeep of files, folders and collateral on the company server and software
- Financial duties include invoicing, marketing budget management, payment tracking & more
- Collect data used in partnership fulfillment and tracking
- Take meeting notes
- Digital street teamer - shares and advocates online
We have a laid-back and casual work environment, but we are all passionate about what we do. Will include office hours, working from home and working live events and shows. Requires someone creative, passionate; and has strong attention to detail. Self-organization and being a self-starter are essential. This position reports to several people and organizations, follow-through and communication are key for this person to be successful.
Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree relevant to the position, one to three years of marketing, advertising, or communications experience, management of professional social media pages and availability to work shows and events outside of normal business hours.
