Job description
Research Intern, T Cell Therapy
Responsibilities:
As a member of the Shared Antigen group, the intern will work with the BioNTech Research team by assisting in the day-to-day functions of TCR Discovery and screening for Shared Antigen targets. This opportunity will allow the intern to gain real world experience in a biopharmaceutical research facility, with the focus of developing novel adoptive T cell therapies targeting solid tumors. Responsibilities will include: performing routine cell culture and expansion of primary immune cells and cell lines, assessing the specificity and functionality of T cells by multicolor flow cytometry, MSD, and other immune related assays, genetic engineering using RNA, viral vectors, or CRISPR of primary immune cells and cell lines, tracking and compiling results and maintaining organized repositories of data and materials, disseminating experimental results in a timely manner and present at group meetings as appropriate.
