Commercial HVAC Project Sales Representative

 

Company Overview

Our client is a leader in the commercial and industrial HVAC contracting business with multiple offices located throughout New York State. They are seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Sales Representative for their Utica and Syracuse markets. Qualified candidates must maintain the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.

The overall responsibility of the Project Sales Representative is to seek out, develop, estimate, sell, organize, and manage commercial and industrial HVAC installation and retrofit projects. Project types will consist of both plan and spec and design build so extensive technical knowledge in both the commercial and industrial HVAC trades is required.

 

What Makes You A Good Fit?

  1. 5 to 8+ years of experience in sales in the HVAC industry (OEM or manufacturer rep or HVAC service)
  2. Technical knowledge of commercial & industrial HVAC systems and applications
  3. Drive and ambition to make money while taking care of the customer’s needs
  4. Ability delivering effective sales solutions/presentations at all levels (facility manager/property manager/CEO/GC’s); able to bring the technical talking points down to laymen’s terms
  5. Can prospect for sales opportunities within a customer base as well as developing opportunities outside of customer base
  6. Engineering degree preferred

 

Role

As a Project Sales Representative, you will market the company to new and existing clients and develop turnkey solution including estimating / proposal presentation for mechanical retrofit projects in commercial and industrial markets.

Compensation & Location

This position will be based out of Utica, NY . This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire. A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that will include a base salary, aggressive commission plan, monthly auto allowance, and comprehensive benefits.
