As part of the Apple Retail Online Digital Experience team, the WW E-commerce Experience & Strategy Manager will play a leading role in defining and evolving the strategic vision and end-to-end customer experience for Apple.com.
The ideal candidate is customer-centric and able to set both a clear business strategy and an outstanding customer experience. They are adept at simplifying the complex, collaborating across a highly matrixed organization, and have a highly strategic mentality. They will possess strong analytical skills to identify issues, form hypotheses, and synthesize into recommendations. They are great storytellers comfortable addressing senior executives, and can also influence while collaborating with key partners and cross functional teams. Key Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in strategy or customer experience function, developing and managing impactful business plans that address clear long-term objectives.
- Outstanding ability to see opportunities, problem solve creatively, and work through ambiguity to define clarity, while maintaining an attention to detail.
- Proactive self-starter; strategy approach with proven analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
- Proficient in Keynote or Powerpoint and capable of crafting compelling, insightful presentations with great storytelling.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and globally to leverage knowledge to gain competitive advantage.
- Proven ability to positively influence people across all functional areas of an organization. Builds bridges and cultivate relationships; comfortable being a key point of contact and subject matter authority.
- Deep knowledge of the global e-commerce B2C industry, retail shopping trends, and consumer behaviors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated success building consensus for an innovative and bold vision, including addressing executives.
- Experience in P&L management, monthly payments, upgrade and/or loyalty programs a plus.

Define and evolve how customers navigate, learn, shop, configure, and purchase products from apple.com.
Responsible for the commercial website performance of specific product lines and/or customer journeys.
Cultivate strategic business priorities, size business opportunities, and develop multiyear business plans to drive growth and revenue targets.
Identify key problems to solve for within a business area and leverage data analysis and insights.
Author detailed briefs and presentations to inform cross functional partners of business priorities, opportunities, and performance; and present to senior executives with synthesized storytelling and narratives.
Influence key collaborators and cross-functional partners to prioritize, deliver, and implement business initiatives to hard deadlines.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to continually optimize the customer’s shopping experience through data analysis, A/B testing, and usability testing.
Contributes to an inclusive environment through respecting each others’ differences and having the curiosity to learn.
Demonstrates Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.
Education & Experience
BA/BS or equivalent experience desired. MBA a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Regular meetings with peers in Asia and Europe during overlapping business hours.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,100.00 and $263,800.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
