VIP Holiday Photos needs your help to make children's dreams come true! We are Houston, TX based, with 120+ photo sets in shopping centers all over the country. We are a growing, fast-paced, social, and supportive company with rewarding opportunities and competitive pay. Our goal is to create long lasting memories for children and their parents every Christmas and Easter season!
The Seasonal District Manager will prepare for and oversee photo sets in shopping centers all over the United States for the upcoming Christmas and Easter seasons. During in-season, you will be out and about, traveling to photo sets to deliver equipment, train employees, set-up equipment, and work the set if need be.
The position starts immediately and ends April 15th.
Requirements
Responsibilities required (but not limited to):
- Overseeing 5+ shopping centers
- Recruitment
- Training workshops
- Hiring/terminating employees
- Create/Attend phone calls/Zoom interviews
- Ability to fly/drive promptly/unexpectedly (paid travel expenses)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluctuating environment
- Ability to work on Holidays such as the day before Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Dec 26th, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, the day before and after Easter, etc.
- Work 10 to 12+ shifts, 7 days a week during in-season
- Travel for days to weeks at a time during in-season, if needed
- Ability to lift minimum 25 to 40lbs+
- Manage and help Location Managers
- Work with spreadsheets and data entry daily
- Reply to emails hourly/daily
- Maintain outstanding relationships and communication with characters (Santa and Bunny), Marketing Directors, Territory Directors, General Managers, Location Managers, and Corporate Management (CEO, Logistics, HR, Accounting, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Great multi-tasking skills
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a smart phone and computer
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a background check and/or drug screen
- Management Experience, minimum 3 years
- Promotions/Events Experience, minimum 3 years
- Customer Service Experience, minimum 3 years
- Retail Experience, minimum 1 year
- Photography experience is a plus!
- Technologically savvy
- Google Suites, Outlook, etc.
- Must be able to obtain a rental car (Must meet state requirements in all states in your region)
- Must be able to book a hotel room (must meet state requirements in all states in your region)
