Job description
Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Strategy & Enablement Consultant / Analyst - Pricing, Licensing, and Monetization Strategy to drive pricing, licensing, and monetization strategies tailored for the digital economy. This role is pivotal in overseeing the transformation of business models, particularly in transitioning customers from upfront to subscription payment models for software and cloud offerings.
- GTM Strategy and Business Model Transformation:
- Spearhead the development and execution of GTM commercial strategies for software and cloud offerings, driving business model transformation in line with the demands of the digital economy while ensuring smooth and effective adoption by our customers.
- Sales & Marketing Strategy for Subscription Models:
- Collaborate closely with Portfolio Strategy and Enablement, Product Center, Sales and Marketing teams to develop robust strategies tailored to subscription-based models, optimizing revenue generation and customer acquisition.
- Define and collaborate on the implementation of sales enablement strategies to support the shift towards subscription offerings.
- Business Operations for Subscription Models:
- Oversee the establishment and optimization of business operations specific to subscription models, ensuring seamless processes from sales to revenue realization.
- Develop and refine Pricing Licensing and Monetization (PLM) policies, standards, systems, and performance analytics aligned with subscription-based operations.
Key Areas of Expertise:
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis of GTM business drivers, industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer spending patterns in the digital economy.
- Assess customer willingness to pay (WTP) and value perception/value creation dynamics.
- Product & Business Model Strategy:
- Conduct value chain analysis, assess use cases across customer segments and industries, and evaluate investment risks and returns for evolving product offerings.
- Collaborate on the development GTM messages and enablement plans aligned with product evolution strategies.
- Portfolio Pricing & Packaging Strategy:
- Collaborate of defining product/service/solution packaging strategies, focusing on subscription and on-demand pricing models within platform-based offerings.
- Formulate commercial models and strategies including direct/indirect routes and commitment-driven sales strategies.
- Operations & Execution:
- Collaborate on sales deal structures and contracts for subscription-based models, overseeing PLM policy governance, approval processes, and operational systems.
- Implement robust performance analytics to monitor and optimize subscription model effectiveness.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
4+ years of experience in business analysis, pricing strategy, or related roles within software and cloud-based services.
Proven expertise in market analysis, product and business model strategy, pricing, and operations for subscription-based models.
Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to travel domestically within the United States as well as internationally as required. Up to 20%
