Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control using Deposco WMS and NetSuite ERP (or equivalent systems), including receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures within NetSuite ERP to ensure accurate stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Utilize Deposco WMS for detailed warehouse-level management, and NetSuite ERP for broader enterprise resource planning related to inventory.
Data Reporting:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems within both Deposco WMS and NetSuite ERP, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory control.
- Analyze and interpret data from both systems to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports for management review, making data-driven recommendations for process enhancements.
Forecasting and Planning:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product demand trends and provide accurate forecasts within NetSuite ERP.
- Utilize historical data and market insights from both Deposco WMS and NetSuite ERP to develop inventory replenishment strategies and optimize stock levels.
Technology Utilization :
- Leverage both Deposco WMS and NetSuite ERP, along with other relevant tools, to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in inventory management and data reporting within Deposco WMS and NetSuite ERP to suggest and implement improvements.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor the inventory control team, providing guidance and training as needed on both Deposco WMS and NetSuite ERP.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within both systems to ensure the team meets organizational objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement within both Deposco WMS and NetSuite ERP, implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Proactively address challenges in the supply chain and recommend solutions to optimize inventory flow within the integrated systems.
Inventory Accounting Management:
- Oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls related to inventory management.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile inventory records and resolve discrepancies.
- Calculate landed costs associated with inventory, including transportation, customs duties, and other expenses.
- Incorporate landed costs into inventory valuation and financial reporting processes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a managerial role, with knowledge of Deposco WMS and NetSuite ERP or equivalent systems.
- Strong analytical and data reporting skills with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or other relevant software.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems, particularly Deposco WMS and NetSuite ERP.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in inventory control.
