Job Summary:

The Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Learning & Development is accepting applications for a Specialist. This position is responsible to the Program Coordinator for coordinating all aspects of TECTA Orientations; collaborating with community colleges to coordinate services for students in the CDA Prep and Early Childhood degree programs; serving as a CDA mentor and advisor for students seeking the CDA credential; overseeing and entering all data into the TECTA web-based data system to ensure the contract is properly executed; participating regularly in a staff meeting as well as quarterly state management, advisory board meetings, and early childhood partner meeting to maintain positive relationships in the early childhood field; collaborating with co-workers to ensure contract needs are being met as well as het needs of providers and students in the early childhood community; and performing other related duties as assigned.

The Fair Labor Standards Act status of exempt or non-exempt will depend on the incumbent's entry salary for this position. All positions at East Tennessee State University ( ETSU ) are contingent upon sufficient funding.
