What we’re looking for:
Rock Creek Foundation, an innovative non-profit organization located in Silver Spring, MD, is accepting Full-Time applications for our Coordinator of Rehabilitation position.
Who you are:
What you’ll do:
Effectively coordinates/manages all functions of the MHVP/PRP departments, including staffing, service delivery, billing, documentation, contracts, schedules, consumer activities, program development etc.
Responsible for the direct supervision of MHVP (Employment Specialist, Contract Manager) and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselors hiring, orienting, training, coaching, evaluating, as well as disciplining these staff members in accordance with RCF personnel policies.
Ensures that the departments are fully staffed at all times, works with the Director to develop a supervision plan if staff fail to meet productivity requirements.
Ensures that the department meets CARF standards and COMAR regulations for the delivery of PRP and MHVP Services, while ensuring that all documentation timelines and services are completed as outlined in regulations.
Ensures the timely, and accurate billing of all services, by completing monthly audits on billed services, submits billing audits to Director.
Conducts quarterly audits of all consumer records, and provide follow-up to MHVP/PRP staff as well as the department Director.
Conduct at least bi-weekly meetings with your team, and monthly individual or group supervision, documenting all meeting minutes and supervision sessions
Monitors all employment Contracts, ensuring that the contracts are fully staffed, the successful l completion of contract services, timely delivery of supplies, timely billing to the finance department.
Completes all required documentation in a complete, timely and accurate manner, as required by Company policies/procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Interviews and evaluates disabled applicants, and confers with medical and professional personnel to determine type and degree of disability, eligibility for service, and feasibility of vocational rehabilitation.
Works closely with the Director to Accept or recommend acceptance of suitable candidates, assists applicant with personal adjustment throughout rehabilitation program, and aids applicant in obtaining medical and social services as needed
Determines suitable job or business consistent with applicant's desires, aptitudes, and physical, mental, and emotional limitations
Ensure all candidates DOR’s eligibility; assist candidate with completing DOR’s application, ensure the accurate and timely billing of all DOR’s purchase orders.
Monitors the completion of all authorizations for services, and ensures that authorizations are complete in a timely manner to avoid interruptions in billing.
Works with the Director to increase departmental revenue, by marketing throughout PG and MC county and attending monthly provider meetings
Assist the Director in developing and managing the operational and fiscal activities of the department to include: staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals
Assesses clients' social, emotional, financial, health, vocational, or other problems to develop rehabilitation treatment plan, or Individualized Plan goals
Responsible for scheduling, attending, writing, and implementing Individualized Plans or Treatment Plans
Implements Individualized Plans or Treatment plans with client, while assisting the client to reach their personal and vocational goals.
Endeavors to place individual in gainful employment after acquisition of marketable skills
Resolve work related problems or difficulties, and assigns individual to simpler tasks when worker cannot perform assigned duties.
Organizes and conducts curriculum based support groups and vocational groups as needed.
Observes worker to ensure that work is performed according to prescribed methods and meets established standards
Maintains working relationships with staff of other agencies and institutions, homes, facilities, and acts as liaison between clients and agency/ institution
Acts as liaison between clients and their supervisor and co-workers
Reviews evaluation made on individual to ascertain type of work recommended and limitations due to specific disability
Prepares and maintains written case records, reports, performs case follow-up and closing, and performs other administrative tasks as required
Attends mandatory meetings
Participates in and successfully completes all required trainings
