QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma required; Undergraduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Education, Psychology, or related field preferred
· Registered Behavior Technician RBT certification preferred; however, StepOne provides the opportunity to grow into this role with training provided.
· Proficiency in Microsoft programs and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) agency management software
· Acceptable driving record and proof of insurance
· Exceptional interpersonal skills with staff and families, collaborative, and team-oriented
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Creative and open-minded
· Compassionate, empathic, and caring with a great determination to succeed
· Interest in technical innovations applied to behavior therapy
RESPONSIBILTIES:
· Provide in-clinic/in-home/in-school Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a BCBA
· Social skills and life skills training under the supervision of a BCBA
· Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
· Implement behavior plans and follow through with behavior management procedures under the supervision of a BCBA
· Use behavior management techniques to help decrease maladaptive behaviors and increase the development of social skills, life skills, and adaptive behavior
· Ability to work closely with children and teens with various disabilities, including autism
· Comfortable communicating with family or caregivers and supervisors
· Attend Professional Development Trainings, as required
· Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is performed in a variety of locations (Clinic, Schools, Homes) and may require travel; as such a driver’s license and insurance will be required. This role requires the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing – including frequent talking, hearing, writing, typing, reading, and significant comprehension. The employee frequently is also required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms/hands. Regular and consistent attendance required.
