Job Overview: As a Program Management Support at S2, you will support the Integrated Program Offices (IPOs) continuing effort to sustain and enhance existing GEOINT mission capabilities. IPF requires experienced technical program/project managers to assist the Government with overseeing the cost, schedule and technical performance of acquisition, operations and support activities. They will collaborate with others; assist with planning and monitoring programs and activities; and assist with validating requirements, preparing acquisition documentation, conducting technical reviews, financial planning, and financial execution.
Duties:
- Provide expert advice to assist the government in planning, managing, and executing programs and projects.
- Evaluate performance, execution risks, and provide comprehensive recommendations to the Government.
- Support successful execution throughout the entire lifecycle of designated efforts from concept to deactivation & disposal.
- Create and review program documents, plans, and artifacts for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Assist in program and business management, including budget execution and financial planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support program management, business management, and budget execution reviews.
- Support the coordination and planning of acquisition, budget, and operational activities to enable mission success.
- Prepare detailed minutes and conduct briefings, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), and events.
- Conduct financial analysis, develop spend plans, and assess contractor cost estimates.
- Assist in coordinating acquisition, budget, and operational activities to enable the success of Foundation GEOINT capabilities.
- Prepare detailed minutes, conduct briefings, and participate in milestone events.
- Provide recommendations to improve program management processes and implement process improvements.
- Assist in responding to senior leadership requests and provide alternative courses of action to deliver capabilities effectively.
- Participate in major program milestones, identifying and resolving programmatic issues.
- Maintain the IPO roadmap and incorporate Agile development methods into acquisition programs.
Required:
- Demonstrated specialized experience with DoD or IC acquisition processes and procedures.
- Proven track record in program/project management within the defense or intelligence community.
- Expertise in applying systems engineering processes and detailed implementation planning for large complex systems or enterprises.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, computer science, or engineering-related field.
