As a Software Development Engineer on the AR Scanless Technologies team, you will be developing a suite of cutting-edge technologies that will forever change the way products and packages are identified, all by using computer vision and machine learning. We envision a time when manual item identification (typically barcode scanning) will be a vestige of the past. We specialize in developing advanced solutions for item detection and human action recognition using high-resolution cameras. Our team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the intersection of computer vision and real-world applications.

About the team
We are a talented, innovative, and a diverse team that works on cutting edge and state of the art computer vision and machine learning techniques. We work hard, have fun and are creating history. We operate collaboratively as cross-functional teams with highly skilled Applied Scientists, Engineers and Program Managers. We partner with our customers, perform user experience and design research to constantly innovate ways to improve our customer’s lives and change the status quo.While at it, we also engage in social events (meals, board games, etc)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
