Summary:

Information Technology Services is a team of dedicated professionals providing core technology and cybersecurity services to agencies statewide, enabling state employees to serve Idaho's citizens. We sincerely hope you will consider being part of our success.

Information Technology Services (ITS), currently has one opening for an IT Systems and Infrastructure Engineer III - Application Hosting position in our Chinden office in Boise. The selected individual will work with a dynamic team that is responsible for the operation of critical digital services to Idaho citizens and State employees.

Qualified candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of how to design, install, and maintain complex, multi-platform web, content, and document management systems while ensuring the security, quality, and integrity of the systems; and perform related work. The incumbent should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, have the ability to interpret user and system requirements in order to design the product to meet the requirements, and have the ability to present complex information through a variety of methods including written and verbal.

Please note: The successful candidates will be required to pass multiple, comprehensive fingerprint-based background checks specific to the agencies ITS supports.

Example of duties:

Minimum Qualifications:


Considerable knowledge of current information technology trends and capabilities.




Experience planning, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting network, server, or storage systems.




Resolving network or server problems.




Working with end users to develop and implement information technology solutions for user computing needs in a business environment.




Experience as a technical lead implementing or supporting network, server, or storage systems.
