Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial construction sector.

- Build and maintain a network of industry contacts, including architects, developers, contractors, and key decision-makers, to generate leads and referrals.
- Proactively prospect, cold-call, and meet with potential clients to pitch our services and build relationships.
- Understand client needs and collaborate closely with the estimations team to develop comprehensive and competitive bids and proposals.
- Create and deliver presentations to clients, highlighting our capabilities, competitive advantages, and successful case studies.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring profitable and sustainable project opportunities.
- Ensure effective handover of secured projects to the operations team, maintaining regular communication to guarantee client satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies, promotional materials, and participate in industry events to enhance the company's visibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development within the commercial construction industry, with a focus on portfolio growth and revenue targets.
- Strong network of industry contacts, including architects, developers, general contractors, and key decision-makers.
- Successful track record in generating new business, closing deals, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical aspects of construction projects and effectively communicate them to clients.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.
