Inventory Control Clerk
Job title: Inventroy Control Clerk
Location: North Tucson
Terms: Temporary (3 months)
Salary/rate: $17.00-$18.50 (DOE)
Requirements: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience.
Job Purpose:
Monitor the accuracy of all inventory levels utilizing the cycle count program and help resolve errors as required working in conjunction with the entire Inventory Control team. Responsible for work in process, inventory accuracy and processing related inventory transactions. The Inventory Control Clerk is tasked with verifying and ensuring inventory accuracy, including accurate part identification labels and quantities. Keep control of IE cabinet material.
Duties:
- Perform and monitor daily cycle count activities.
- Maintain accurate records of cycle counts performed and transactions performed in MRP system.
- Monitor transactional activity, troubleshoot, and reconcile incorrect balances.
- Must have the ability to read Bill of Material's and mechanical drawings.
- Monitor product builds and make necessary changes to Bill of Material's per actual material consumption.
- Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory, and cycle count adjustments, into computer database and MRP system.
- Record and monitor all items for expired shelf-life and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired.
- Participate in physical inventories as scheduled.
- Kitting experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Alternates between sitting, standing, and moving within the work area
Skills/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. One to three years relevant experience is preferred. Must have the ability to read mechanical drawings and bills of material. Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy. Strong computer skills required. Syspro experience is a plus. 10,000 class clean room environment. Must be willing to wear clean room attire for the duration of the shift while in the clean room.
Must have the ability to use small hand tools (e.g. tweezers, vacuum wands etc.). Experience handling of semi-conductor components is preferred.
