Job description
The Senior Cash Analyst plays a key role in evaluating departmental and organizational processes, data & identifies department performance improvement opportunities. Leveraging multiple data & reporting platforms the associate will support Cash Services Team with processing, reporting & analytics. This position is expected to handle more complex and analytical Cash Services functions and projects that require a proactive self-starter with strong quantitative analytical skills to perform root-cause analysis and subsequently execute procedural changes. Responsibilities include creation of data performance analysis specific to the Cash Services Department, monitoring of MSP Edit Reports, monitoring of intra-department quality control initiatives, Ad hoc data retrieval from MSP, preparation of department management reporting, and execution on special projects. Projects should be carried out with limited to no supervision. Ensure all Cash Service functions are performed in compliance with company, investor and/or regulatory guidelines. Develop department process flows while identifying and remediating on any potential process gaps. Act as liaison between Cash Service’s Department, IT and/or vendors related to department system enhancements. Responsible for management and execution of ad-hoc reporting specific to Cash Services Manage Edit Reporting and ensure corrective application occurs timely and accurately. Develop and maintain testing validation documentation for Cash Service’s system enhancements. Retrieve Cash Service’s KPI analytics using MSP Passport and Monarch reporting tools. Facilitate wire transfers and funds movement specific to Cash Services area. Partner with internal and external business partners as applicable to perform Cash Services functions. Assist with the management of vendor relationships, including Lockbox processing vendor.
