Overview

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems are currently seeking a Material Program Coordinator 2 for their Niceville, Florida location. Under intermediate supervision , the Material Program Coordinator 2 will support the planning and coordination of program activities to ensure program goals and objectives are met. Analyze and report financial program data to ensure goals and objectives of projects and proposals are accomplished within prescribed schedule and cost parameters.

Responsibilities

• Prepares estimates, cost reports, forecasts, schedules, account codes, budgets, and change orders.
• Program and Material Planning
• Performs data entry of planning data into GD-OTS automated MRP/IMS databases. Use MRP system to track material orders and inventory.
• Assists Asset Management in inventory accountability/control as required.
• Works closely with each functional area and suppliers to identify and resolve material availability and program schedule issues.
• Track and control of material assets and update accretive material line balance on a daily basis.
• Coordinates project estimates by obtaining and analyzing data on unit labor costs and unit material costs.
• Provides updates of estimates, schedules, reports, and documents based on input from team members and ERP systems.
• Tracks program expenditures to maintain cost and schedule.
• Processes program purchase requisitions with procurement department.
• Updates monthly program reports under direction of PM (highlights, delivery status to contract schedule, EACs, and financial status reports).
• Gathers and inputs data for pricing of proposals; Coordinates effort with proposal coordinator.

Education/Experience:

Associates degree in Finance, Accounting or related filed and 3 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Knowledge of Earned Value Management, Contract Fund Status Report (CFSR), Contract Schedule Status Report (CSSR)

Knowledge of DoD contracts and other commonly used accounting concepts, practices and procedures in the field are required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Pro-Pricer, and MRP
