Whether introducing new products and service solutions, demonstrating and differentiating competencies, or opening and developing new accounts, we cater to the needs of our customers to keep their industry in motion.  Our Operations Support Group professionals represent the Company by providing support for the company operating systems and business systems.  Additionally, they help drive operational improvement by creating a bridge between our more than 500 branch locations and the numerous corporate departments.  We are seeking a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to fill the Operations Manager Trainee position.  Motion Industries offers an excellent benefits package which includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, vacation, sick, and holiday pay.

Responsibilities

• Assist field management with training and support activities related to all areas of branch operations
• Travel to newly acquired branches to train on Motion Industries systems and assist through the entire onboarding process
• Assist with the design, testing and implementation of new systems.

Qualifications

• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Capable of producing complete and concise written documents
• Willingness to give extra effort to plan outcome and complete projects on time
• Tenacious especially with difficult and lengthy tasks
• Experience with the Company Operating systems
• Motion Industries branch experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Passionate about customer service
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Enjoys working with a team
