This role offers the opportunity to join a small and dynamic team of a family-run winery in Sonoma County. This newly created Coordinator position will be an integral part of the day-to-day administrative efforts for the team. Work will be conducted from a home office, with occasional in-person team meetings in Sonoma County or Napa.

In this role, the team member will be responsible for supporting the sales operations, logistics and overall administration of the company. This person needs to be an organized self-starter with a strong attention to detail. They must be able to work independently to meet deadlines, effectively problem solve, and multi-task. Additionally, they must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficient computer skills.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Handling all logistics associated with DTC orders and fulfillment
- Handling all customer care, including breakage issues, address changes, weather holds, payment issues, and otherwise
- Overseeing inventory & wine movement between warehouses for order fulfillment
- Supporting Accounting by providing & organizing information needed to properly account for all activities within that department
- Managing all sample send requests and corresponding donation log and samples tracker
- Managing all export and domestic wholesale purchase orders and corresponding paperwork, acting as primary point of
contact from winery for customers and warehouses
- Managing monthly depletion uploads
- Responding to general email and phone inquiries, directing incoming emails and phone calls as appropriate
- Occasionally/as needed representing the winery with local costumers and accounts

Job Requirements:
- Education/Experience: 2 years of experience working in wine sales, customer support, and/or similar coordinator position at a winery. Hands-on experience communicating with and interacting with customers and business partners, with a warm and professional demeanor. Experience handling all administrative tasks. A bachelor’s degree, as well as advanced knowledge of viticulture, winemaking, wine marketing, and wine tasting are strongly preferred.

- Skills: Ability to wear multiple hats and multi-task on a daily basis. Experience working in a family operation with a willingness to be flexible and accept a constantly changing work environment. Ability to make decisions and take action independently when needed, yet cultivating a team mentality. Very reliable. Strong communication skills (verbal and writing) and computer skills (POS Systems, Campaign Monitor, Word, Excel, Outlook, DropBox and database operations). Willingness and ability to work from a home office during standard business hours in the Napa/Sonoma area, with on-site presence occasionally needed for warehouse visits or team meetings.

- Physical: Able to travel by car. Able to sit at and operate a computer for long periods of time. Able to lift standard supplies (including but not limited to 9L cases of wine).
