Job Summary
Village Caregiving in Point Pleasant, West Virginia is seeking a full-time/part-time In-Home Caregiver to join our team. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care for the elderly and/or disabled.

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement patient care plans
- Promote the physical, mental, and psychological wellbeing of our patients
- Clean, bathe, dress, and feed patients as required and/or directed
- Assist with basic activities of daily living (i.e. toileting, transferring, and ambulation)
- Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff
- Provide companionship and general emotional support to patients
- Ensure that all safety regulations and procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and creative in problem-solving
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and non-verbal)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of meeting the demands of the job
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- A valid driver’s license is preferred
