Hiring immediately for a full time TIG welder! 

Company Profile

Our client was founded in 1987 by Kim Wuertemberger in Dayton, OH. Originally it was a two-person tool shop, working on light contract manufacturing. A few years later Kim moved the factory to Richmond, Indiana (his hometown) into the “L” Street facility. Our client began to expand offering manufacturing of custom steel shipping racks and containers to the Automotive industry. After adding additional facilities to the “L” Street Campus business had grown to the point that a new 118,000-square-foot facility was built (current facility).

TIG Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $15.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)

• Fabricates and assembles metal structures
• Produces metal products according to customer and employer specifications
• Tack-welds or welds components and assemblies
• Uses electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment
• Lays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications or drawings
• Follows weld and assembly requirements of drawings for assigned products
• Ignites torch and adjusts valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc
• Maintains equipment
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs

TIG Welder Qualifications:

• Requires at least 1 year of TIG welding experience or equivalent training
• Successful completion of weld test
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
• Experience using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to provide an update resume to reflect required experience 
• Must be available for an in person interview at client site

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
