Position Summary:
Join our team at Seed to Table and thrive as a Receiver / Load Breaker, embodying a diverse range of attributes to the success of our Guest, Customer, and Associate experience, including:

Essential Qualifications:
The following qualifications are essential for success in this role:
- Understanding of best practices for receiving freight, including inspection, documentation, storage, and breaking down freight procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to meticulously inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and any damages.
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage incoming inventory, break down freight, and maintain orderly storage areas.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items and operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts safely.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, team members, and produce department regarding incoming shipments.
- Capacity to identify and address issues or discrepancies with incoming shipments promptly and effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, fluctuating workloads, and evolving operational demands.
- Previous experience in receiving/ load breaking roles preferred.
- Proficient in English, with additional proficiency in Spanish considered a valuable asset.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (please note that company does not provide).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
Proficiency Standards:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to withstand physical demands, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail : Meticulous attentional to detail in inspecting and documenting incoming shipments.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds: Proficiency in lifting and moving heavy items, up to 50 pounds, to facilitate the unloading and handling of freight safely.
- Organizational Skills: Proficiency in organizing and categorizing received items, ensuring they are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, team members, and produce managers regarding shipments, inventory, and other issues or discrepancies.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Proficient in accurately documenting received items or digital entry as required.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures during freight handling.
